Jackpot's like 206 million right now. You could by all the CTS-Vs if you wanted.

And with gas prices the way they are, it won't cost you a million to fill it up!

Corner the market on CTS-V wagons! You'd be like a weird wagon-y version of the Hunt brothers.

I remember when I used to think that Mega Millions was a NY thing only, then someone from Idaho won and I learned I'd been wrong. I was 13 at the time...

Cash Value is $144.8MM, so after taxes, it would be about $87MM. Buy a condo in Aspen, condo in the Caymans, small ranch just west of Austin, and a larger house. Plus cars, I'd have about $80MM left over. I'd then pull 2% out annually ($1.6MM, adjusted annually for portfolio growth), and I'd live like a King forever.

BTW, the financial planning is what I do for a living, so I can spit those numbers out in my sleep.

Oil will go back up soon, but yeah, I'd spend a ridiculous amount on gas, brakes, and tires annually.

We didn't get it for a while. I'll only play when the jackpot goes to ludicrous levels. Even then, I have a strong grasp on statistics, so it's more for entertainment purposes.

Ok, well maby we both got same numbers & we can split it.

I have quite a few projects to finish that would require copious funds.

"M" is Roman numeral for "1,000". MM in financial speak is "1,000 x 1,000", or million.

That's awesome, I just learned that.

I knew I V L D C M, never thought of MM

Often I try to compute older films by Roman numerals in opening credits.

An occasional $5 is worth dreaming about outlandish and unrealistic possibilities.

If I were to dump half my paycheck on scratch-offs, however...

Oh, totally. We do that once in a while, too. It's great fun to plan how you're going to spend it.

I recently watched a guy who looked to be in his 60's spend $75 on scratch-offs. He wanted to spend $80, but they didn't have one of the kind of tickets he wanted. That was sad to see.
